Expect the same thing to happen with the suddenly "team-oriented" Moss. Yeah, he's definitely a talent but I'm sorry I can't stomach anyone who pulls the shit he did last year making the cash these guys get. He should have been suspended or at the least heavily fined for his actions.
I forget, what did he do?? I remember he "mooned" some fans, but I thought that was a couple years ago... when he was with Minn. And I thought Vick gave the finger, not Moss. Just curious.

I got to wonder if Axl is really like that and cant understand a good will "slap on the back" so to speak of if its that his security guards take things a bit too far, or are afraid of losing their jobs if they arent totally 100% rigid...just makes you wonder
My guess is it's a little of both. Wouldn't surprise me if Axl had some OCD thing about "Not letting anybody touch him", and the guards might overreact a little if someone does.

you gotta admit that is pretty funny! He is a bizarre dude...:haha:
It makes you wonder man, it makes you wonder... how bizarre it all really must be behind the scenes?!

Didn't one of these shows (Oakland?) have some terrible "Trade in your guns for a ticket" promotion?! I hope somebody somewhere got fired for that idea.

^^ I agree they are probably a little tooo high, and Cleveland & others should be over them due to palying in a tougher divisions ... but I also agree I would not want to face them in the playoffs.
#6696 Re: The Garden » Contractor, Owner fighting over hidden cash » 961 weeks ago
so if the contractor walked into the guys closet and found some clothes could he take those too, or maybe he happened accross your wife's jewlery box?
the cash belongs to the owner, plain & simple...if anybody here hired some dude to renovate your home and he found something at your place of value when he started demolition, who would it belong to?
True, but A. He did call her, and tell her about his find. He could have just taken it, knowing she never knew it was there. But also, B. They were friends!! From childhood. How could she not split it?! Just a little bit. I'd give him the $25,000 box, and keep the $100,000 box.
I agree, it's her house, IMHO legally it should be hers, but we're finding out the state law is it might belong to whoever finds it, if the original owner cannot claim it. Also how about a little compensation for a finders fee. Just a little something, amongst friends. Help a brother out.

well up here iin canada, whever owns the building owns all contents as well, as far as i'm concerned the contractor has no rights to the money, if not for the owner he wouldnt have even discovered it anyway
I agree, but i think the contractor deserves some. Maybe not all, but he's only asking for 40%. I would think more like 25% but I think, considering the value of about $500,000, I'd part with 40%. Plus, they could have kept it on the downlow, not told anyone, not paid taxes on it. Now, after taxes and legal/attorney fees, they'll both end up with less than 100k cash.

#6699 Re: The Sunset Strip » VH1 Top 100 songs of the 90s-Guess who's missing?? » 961 weeks ago
The list was voted on by fans on the VH1 website. That to me is what makes James' point. If the fans made this list then it shows you where GNR stands in the average fans memory.
Wasn't this the vote that someone posted on ROV.com & we all went over and voted for NR?! I remember this site. Hard to believe it isn't Top 100?! But like previous posters said, people must have forgotten alot about back then & GnR being big in the early 90's.

Agreed. It's ashame he took a few years off after Titanic, who knows what roles & films he would have done. But I guess with such popularity he reached he had to lay low. Great actor though, IMHO. And yes Gilbert Grape & B-Ball Diaries were great, early roles from him.
