US strikes against Iran are expected within 24 hours. Some evacuations from various US bases in the region, citizens told to leave, and like last time...Netanyahu's plane is headed to Greece.
Also a lot of movement on the flight trackers.
The only thing 'off' is how there's not an aircraft carrier parked in their backyard....it's in mid-rotation. On the other hand, the US is capable of doing strikes without a carrier strike group.
A limited strike to seize the Ayatollah? Major strike to help fuel the fires of the protests? Something in between?
Iran is also asking its allies for assistance.

That quite insane James since Trump seemed to want to end wars. But these aren't really wars. They are escalations though. That can lead to war of course.
Things are happening so fast I can't keep up. It is quite a dissonance to see him do this though given what he said he would do. Or maybe he did say it and I just missed it.
I guess it wouldn't be wise to announce a military movement like this well in advance.

I tend to agree with Polluxm on this...and you almost seem to as well. Profiling happens to everyone to some degree. If law enforcement is restricted from enforcement by all this hysteria, then let's just not have laws anymore like George Carlin said.
Can I ask you this? How many of these people are let go, detained or arrested in your neighborhood? Are most just walking away after complying? Is there a fuck you attitude?
I'm not a huge fan of the police. But I also see the need for enforcement.
Really dude? Cause ICE is stopping people that look like me and you and asking for documentation right? Let's call a spade a spade. Most immigrants on the street aren't white, especially the ones they are looking for. One tactic of ICE besides running plates is random stops. And who do you think this targets? Not criminals mostly but just hard working people trying to make a life. This is the difference I guess between us, I don't mind law abiding people who work hard and try to better their life. Some are in the process of being legal, some aren't. There should be a path and not just detain and deport members of community cause they can't get their numbers up going after actual criminals. No American should be stopped on the street and asked for papers just cause they are a shade dark or Asian or black or whatever the fuck.
I''ve seen people offer up documentation and they are still taken into a unmarked SUV. I've seen some agents let them on their way. Those who are taken, there's no reports, no agent saying hey this is where we are taking them. A man from my state ended up across the country and died in a detainement center. But that's okay right? Cause he didn't have the right papers? Life is worth less than?
Dont turn this into a we need police thing. Cause we do, but ICE is not a police force. By law they shouldn't be questioning or detaining any American citizen but here we are. No badge numbers, wearing masks, no names on the uniform. No fucking accountability. Dem or republican this shouldn't sit right with any American.
This is why I get so exhausted with this...what's true...what's not? We can't trust anyone to tell us the full truth anymore.
Did you know this happened? Did you know that happened? How can I when the people who are there to objectively inform us do not?
When someone gets taken into a black SUV, do you actually know why? Because I sure don't. When there is an ideology war going on to this level, it's nothing but propaganda be shared with us.
Over many years legal battles with ensue and maybe some truth comes out, maybe it doesn't.

Yeah the Greenland shit is just wow. They had a meeting today about. Went as well as youd expect. But I guess since Trump says he needs it, it's the right thing right? Just taking over another country? NATO ally? Germany is sending troops to Greenland I just read. Denmark as well. These are supposed to be our allys. But hey im still waiting on America first. Its just ridiculous. Embarrassing and dangerous.
Don't worry about Trump taking a day off. He will just doze off in another public meeting, like today. No wonder he can rage tweet at 2 am. :haha

You probably do, my wording was probably off. But made no claim made for special treatment. American citizens shouldn't be stopped and asked for papers while simply walking down the street. Or have to answer a knock on the door asking for ID at 6 in the morning. Black, brown, white, whatever. That's the point. Goes back to the original intent of violent criminals being deported. Which everyone is on board for. Not random stops cause this guy looks like he doesn't belong..that's not America. But quotas need to be made. Needs to be a reasons for hundreds of millions of dollars being spent on ICE.

The Greenland stuff is nuts. I know itts about the resources there, but I think trumps just batshit lost it. His first term people like Tillerson, Mathis, Kelly, Bolton talked him out of alot of crazy stuff, but there's no one there to do that this time. Hegseth, Noem, Bondi all seem like amateurs. I wonder if Rubio stays in, or just exits soon and sends a wakeup call to americans.
