i'm not much of a nascar fan but i have seen that commercial quite alot. it is fuckin' cool and probably the coolest sports commercial out there but it has nothing to do with newgnr or a tour or anything other than it's a great song that gets alot of play in many sports arenas and commercials.

now that this has turned into a slash versus hendrix, axl versus dylan i will say that while i understand the importance of hendrix and his influence on many guitarists i prefer slash. i like slash's playing better therefor i think he is better. am i wrong ? i'm not to crazy about dylan while again, i understand the importance and the whole poet thing i prefer axl's shit all the way around. therefor i think axl is better. am i wrong ? these are opinions and not facts. some people tend to forget that. happy new year to all at gnrevolution !

well i for one agree with you on catcher. of all the songs this has grown on me the most. i though the demo was superior upon my first listen to the cd version. now i really appreciate it and enjoy what they did to it. great song imo.
