I love how some folks think this means all the Guns 'hoping' for this fall won't happen.
Wrong.
1) HnB shows will be cancelled in a second for GN'R. This isn't like NIN & Robin.
2) Just because the album might be coming out, doesn't mean they'll be touring. If the album comes out in say... October. It doesn't mean they can't wait to kick off a tour at the first of 2009.

Buckethead COULD return if the albums were finally coming out. I believe he said he would.
And Beta said they tried to get him back in 2006. So they want him, the only question is does HE want THEM.
He was just sick of touring for cash grabs.

I really hope it's made official before hand that GN'R will be there this time.
It's a long day since the glory days of the VMA's, and they pretty much suck these days. I would hate, even the 'trimmed' 2-hour show, have to sit through that for Guns.
Oh, and 4 albums would be HUGE.

Interesting theory.
But me thinks with the fact Harmonix's people have confirmed it's a Buckethead song, I just don't see ANY "Slash is back" secret being able to stay secret, unless Axl has the women & children of the employees in a hostage house somewhere.
It's probably just Chinese Democracy - FINALLY - getting on track.

Some of you are aware I have an old friend who works at Uni in L.A.
I sent her a message yesterday asking for an update on the state of Chinese Democracy in light of the Rock Band 2 announcement and I just received this response:
I know its on the schedule... for late Q3/early Q4.. its never been on there before. So I guess you never know, it should be happening.
