I bet that's gonna go over well.
I have a feeling we're going to get another lockdown here within a few months.
They almost have to. The numbers are fucking scary. 1 million new cases in 2 weeks. And a person dying every two minutes or something.
And apparently, infections are up in Europe again. Lockdowns in several countries. Tourism and economy in those countries aren't going to be back to normal for a long while.

My god, some of you Trump supporters reside in some sort of fantasyland.
He's not remotely a sucessful businessman (this isn't arguable it's fact) and he's a gigantic idiot and a sleazeball. Mitch's point from the previous page has it right.
Tell me, are the higher voter numbers (especially in places like TX) likely to favor Trump or Biden? A simple yes or no will do. Trump barely won in 2016. I think by 70,000. He's ben a disaster in 2020 (too many stupid things to list).

I actually tried listening to the Gary Cherone record the other night and couldn't get past the first song. I'll give it another try.
I listened to this when it came out. I liked the riffs but my god the shrieking screaming vocals was like aaaahhh what happened to the guy who actually SANG in Extreme.
As for Van Halen, it brings me back to childhood, my cousin gave me the cassette of II. That still remains my favorite album. Fair Warning is probably better, especially the first 5 songs or so. But something about II and I can kind of relax and enjoy while listening to DOA and Dance the Night Away.
On the Hagar albums. 5150 is a really good album, aside from the 2 ballads, the title track is one of my favorites. I think Ou812 is the weakest Hagar album (haven't listened to Balance in full yet). FUCK is weird in that I like Judgement Day and Top of the World more than the two hits (Poundcake and Right Now). And speaking of that song, I also associate that with Crystal Pepsi which was a 90s thing and one of those you'd have to be around to understand things. I was chatting with someone and he had no idea what Crystal Pepsi was.

Just got through watching the 93 NFC Championship game between the Cowboys and Niners.
Cowboys won 30-20. Don't let the score deceive you....it wasn't really that close. It was tied 10-10 at the half and then the Cowboys trounced them.
This game is a cluster fuck. It was obvious as the 3rd quarter was wrapping up that the Niners aren't winning this thing. Young can't get it done.
It's mind-blowing. You literally have the greatest QB who will ever play the game standing idle on the sidelines. They weren't willing to bruise Young's ego by benching him and letting Montana get them back in the game...so were willing to lose instead.
There's a moment around the 5 minute mark in the game where they show Montana on the sidelines. There's an intensity in his eyes...he wants to go in. He knows he could clean the clock of this Dallas defense. The cherry on top is how some Dallas players were celebrating with a whole quarter left to go. Montana thrived in such situations. It flustered Young.
This game is slipping through the cracks of time and isn't talked about enough. It is a key moment. The Dallas dynasty starts here in Candlestick. If Montana comes in and wins this thing, it alters the landscape of the NFC. The Dallas dynasty is stomped in its cradle, instead of Montana shipping off to KC we might get a Young trade instead, and the cherry on top is another Niners SB, possibly more with Montana staying.
The only thing I remember about this game was Alvin Harper doing a long catch and run that more or less sealed the game. I think Emmitt Smith scored a few plays later.
My Steelers are looking damn fine. I don't know why there isn't more noise around the Bears. 5-1 and they're not even in the top 1/3 of the power rankings. With Bell going to KC, I'm even more sure they're the AFC champions this year, but maybe I'll get lucky and they'll get sniped early on in the playoffs.
On the Bears, outside of TB they've beaten horrible teams and Foles has looked pedestrian. You can only hide the qb for so long. Also the running game looks like shit. That's why there isn't much noise around them. If you have a huge question mark at qb, your upside is capped or limited. On the AFC side, the Colts are sort similar. Rivers is done. Too bad because the rest of that team is good.

I warmed up to it a bit years later but it's a song I never listen to.
I would like to hear the original version someday. I don't believe that the master tape was destroyed.
I think I tried listening to it a while ago and couldn't make it through the entire song. I would like to hear the original and whatever demos of that song too; only because it's origins were from the Illusion era.

James wrote:Pats fan here. I was a fan before Brady, so I’m a lifer. I was a fan even before Bledsoe so I saw some terrible teams.
Remember that 92-93 team? Holy shit.... might be the worst team in league history.
James...have you ever played tecmo super bowl? It was like the first really awesome football game. The Pats and the Colts were the worst two teams by far. They still had Steve Grogan....I like how they had Irving Fryar in the early 90s too. And a guy named Hart Lee Dykes who I don't think ever amounted to anything.
Other than a couple other guys on that defense, that whole team was filled with bench warmers that were actually starters. LOL
You can still play it online. I remember Andre Tippett from the early 90s too (Those PATS teams had a limited amount of decent players).
The one awful Pats team that I'll always remember is the 90 (might be wrong on the year) team. That was the one with the sexual harrasment of the female reporter.
I honestly don't remember the 92 team, faldor or someone else can refresh my memory.
It's been so long since NE has been flat out bad.

It's NFL time and I thought I'd do the Garden section a favor and get some chatter started.
I'm a Bears fan and as weird as things have been lately, I am really looking forward to football. They've had the benefit of seeing the clusterfuck that MLB endured and hopefully will make the necessary adjustments so stupid things like what happened with the St. Louis Cardinals doesn't happen in the NFL.
Just curious...what everyone's team? Who you rooting for this year?
I am a masochist so I love the Chicago Bears.
Foles needs to be the starter. Snaps/Games that Trubistsky starts will be wasted games. Also their PK Santos isn't very good. Otherwise they are wasting a good defense and another year of Khalil Mack's prime.
Pats fan here. I was a fan before Brady, so I’m a lifer. I was a fan even before Bledsoe so I saw some terrible teams. It’s been awhile though and I don’t think they’ll be THAT bad. Word from camp is the defense looks great but the offense is still lacking. Will be an odd year for multiple reasons. KC & Baltimore are the teams to beat in the AFC. The NFC is more wide open.
I sent out an email to the fantasy league. Any interest in going for another year? We had a pretty competitive league last year. Time is running short though. Need to pull the trigger soon if we’re going to give it a go. Let me know.
I'm interested in another year in fantasy.
I find it difficult to handicap the AFC East. I think that Darnold is probably the best qb but Gase may be the worst coach at maximizing offensive talent. I think Josh Allen is overrated and pretty awful. Guys who can't complete simple passes usually don't last long. Miami is just waiting for Tua to take over. Fitzpatrick will probably do his usually yo-yo act. 3-4 games mixed in with 3-4 awful games as well. Hard to know what to make of Newton in NE. Is he healthy? I think NE probably wins it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's any of the other 3 teams.
I'm actually pretty confident since the Titans look like one of the better teams in the AFC. They got rid of Logan Ryan (he couldn't cover past 15 yards) and added a pass catching RB. I'm pretty sure Tannehill can replicate a performance close to 2019. People who don't watch the Titans on a regular basis don't know how horrible Mariota really was. He was killing the offense. The only thing that worries me is the PK situation (they stunk last year and the 2 guys in camp don't inspire confidence) and the edge rushers are still a big question mark and I'd prefer that they sign Jadaeveon Clowney.

Can anyone help me out please - all the Locker leaks were on my old laptop which died a sad death. Can someone PM please? Would love to have these again
I'd like to second this request as well. My computer crashed and I lost all the leaks that I had on there.
