That's a shitty cover.

i got Abnormal a few weeks ago and i think its even better than Normal

Songs like

Glad to be here, Green, Misery & the day after really showcase his song writing and are way far and beyond what soem of you call mindless shredding...the feeling in the day after is awesome

he also has some of that shredding on this album but its balanced nicely and the tones on his guitars are killer...i wonder if he used some of his GnR tones

anyway i highly recommend the new BBF album wink has anyone elese check it out yet?

i bought Abnormal over the summer. It does rival Normal. I listen to pretty much the whole album but my favorite songs are Abnormal, Glad to be Here, and Simple Days.

The best part of the song is the solo, whoever wrote and whoever played that.

agreed. I liked the solos and riffs in this song and had no idea (besides the fretless) whether is was BH or BBF. Don't get me wrong, it would be cool to hear the bucket demo but the song already kicks ass. I'm sick of hearing that just Ron's shredding is "mindless." All shredding is mindless. Shredding is just a scale played extremely fast. It's funny how some people were cumming in their pants over the solos and riffs in this song but now that they find out that it was BBF that played them, they all back off and start licking BH nuts. I think both guitarists are great and all of this BH v BBF stuff is just annoying.

The ONLY essential GN'R songs to any GN'R show at this time is Jungle, City, Child, Patience, Rain, and YCBM.

That's 6. Those are the main songs for the casual audience. Only the hardcore AFD-ites sit back and want to hear that entire album, LALD & KOHD are covers and therefore disposable, they've went without Don't Cry before, and Estranged & Civil War hasn't been played since '93.

If you've got a 20-song set, and 14 songs are CD songs - THAT'S THE CHINESE DEMOCRACY WORLD TOUR. Not "Guns N' Roses Are Back, but not really just Axl & Dizzy World Tour Part II 2006-07".

I understand that you can't shove CD down the throats of your paying customers, especially if it has mixed reactions, but still... at least half of the concert should be CD songs, even if just out respect for the old band and their legacy, which some days, even as an Axl fan, I think HE thinks is all because of him.

You would think that Axl would play mostly new material. I mean NIN plays mostly new songs and you know the man crush that Axl has for Trent Reznor...
